The CMA team working around a conference table

The Team Operators, builders, execution partners.

Strategy, finance, and operations under one roof — a bench built for clients who need their advisors to do the work, not describe it.

Dallas Coleman, Founder & CEO of Coleman Management Advisors

Leadership

Dallas Coleman

Founder & CEO

MBA · JD · FMVA · SIE · U.S. Army Veteran

Dallas sets the engagement standard for the firm: find what actually drives the business, build the plan around it, then stay for the implementation. His work centers on financial oversight and operational analysis — cash flow, performance diagnostics, forward-looking forecasting — translated into decisions owners can act on.

He holds a BSBA from the University of Missouri–Columbia, an MBA from Maryville University, and a Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law, with professional experience at IHS Markit and U.S. Bank. A certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst, he brings strategic, financial, and structural rigor to every engagement — and his eight years in the U.S. Army Reserve anchor the firm's discipline and its Veteran Business Support Initiative.

John Turner

Marketing Associate

Outreach, campaigns, and the relationships behind new engagements — run from the Dallas office.

John runs the firm’s outreach and campaigns — the work that decides whether the right owner ever hears about CMA in the first place. He came up in state and national political campaigns, where outreach is counted daily and a message that does not land has nowhere to hide. He brings that same cadence here: consistent contact, tracked, and followed through rather than left to good intentions. He is completing a B.S. in Political Science at Southern Illinois University, with an emphasis on systems thinking and strategic decision-making.

Abigail Strait

Research Analyst

The research and diligence that keep CMA deliverables defensible.

Abby is why a CMA number survives being argued with. She runs the market analysis, the regulatory review, and the sourcing underneath client plans — the part of a deliverable that has to hold when a lender, an investor, or a regulator leans on it. Her training is legal rather than commercial: a Paralegal Studies degree from SIU Carbondale and a second year at the UA Little Rock Bowen School of Law, where a claim is worth exactly as much as the source behind it. That is the standard she holds our research to.

Wambugu Wambugu

Sales Associate

Client outreach and new business — the first conversation, and the one that settles fit.

Wambugu handles client outreach and closes new business. He works the front of the pipeline: finding the owners who actually have the problem this firm solves, and getting to a straight answer on fit before either side spends real time finding out. Most of what CMA does is not right for most businesses, and the honest version of this job is saying so early — so the owners who do belong here start their engagement with a firm that already understands the shape of their problem.
