About CMA
Coleman Management Advisors was founded on a conviction: the gap between strategy and results is execution — and most consulting firms leave it to the client. We don't.
The Firm
Dallas Coleman founded CMA as an answer to the most common complaint owners have about consultants: the recommendations were fine, and nothing happened. The firm was built in reverse — execution capability first, then the strategy practice to aim it.
That order shows in how we work. CMA's clients aren't theoretical case studies — they're founders making payroll, owners signing leases, operators betting capital on a second location. So the work is practical, financially grounded, and carried through side by side: we embed in the business, help lead the change, and stay accountable for whether it holds.
Today CMA serves entrepreneurs and small to mid-market businesses from its offices at 1920 McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas — with engagements on site across Texas and nationwide, and clients internationally, from U.S. founders to infrastructure sponsors abroad.
Founder & CEO
The Founder
Dallas partners with founders, executives, and growing businesses to bring structure, clarity, and disciplined execution to complex operational and financial challenges. His work focuses on how businesses truly function beneath the surface — translating data into actionable insight and sustainable strategy.
He specializes in financial oversight and operational analysis: cash flow tracking, performance diagnostics, and forward-looking forecasting. His professional background includes roles at IHS Markit and U.S. Bank, where he developed a strong foundation in financial services, risk awareness, and analytical rigor. A certified Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) with an MBA and a Juris Doctor, he brings strategic, financial, and structural rigor to business decisions few single advisors can match.
His service in the United States Army Reserve continues to inform his leadership style, accountability standards, and operational discipline — and is the foundation of CMA's Veteran Business Support Initiative.
Philosophy
Great consulting starts with understanding. We build real relationships with clients, learn what actually drives their business, and give advice we would bet our own money on.
No buzzword soup, no 80-page decks that say nothing. Every recommendation comes in plain language with the numbers behind it and a clear next step.
Strategy is only half the job. We show up on site, build the systems, train the team, and stay accountable for results — not just recommendations.
The Team
CMA engagements are staffed by a bench spanning business development, research, and operations — operators who sit in your meetings and build your deliverables.
Client Voices
Dallas was a huge help when I was trying to start my first business. I had no prior knowledge of how to set up an LLC and they really helped guide me through the process and was able to answer any questions I had along the way.
Dallas was able to help me with my day to day accounting and finances. They also were instrumental in helping me with some day-to-day operations…
