We Moved: Inside CMA’s New Downtown Dallas Office at 1910 Pacific Avenue

As of this month, Coleman Management Advisors works out of 1910 Pacific Avenue, Suite 5055, Dallas, TX 75201. We are in the downtown core now, a short walk from Thanks-Giving Square, the courthouse district, and most of the banks our clients borrow from.

This post is the practical version of the announcement: what the space is, why we chose it, and what changes for you if you work with us. (Short answer on that last one: the address. Nothing else.)

What the space is

It is a corner unit with windows on two sides, which matters more than it sounds. Most of our day is spent looking at numbers, process maps, and drafts, and a room with light on two walls is a better place to do that for eight hours than a room with light on none.

The layout is built around three things we do constantly:

• A conference room. This is where working sessions happen: the two-hour block where a founder and our team decide what the plan says, walk a financial model line by line, or map a process before we rebuild it. It seats a client team comfortably and has the wall space to actually work on something together, not just present to each other.
• A reception desk. When a client, a lender, or a partner walks in, someone is there. It is a small thing, and it is the first impression, so we treated it as a real part of the office rather than an afterthought.
• The bullpen. An open floor where the people building plans, models, automations, and websites sit together. We are an embedded firm. Most of our work happens inside a client’s business, and when it happens here instead, it should look like a team at work, not a row of closed doors.

Why downtown

We were in Uptown before, at 1920 McKinney Avenue, and it served us well. Downtown is a better fit for how the firm works now.

A lot of what we do lands in front of a banker, an underwriter, or a counterparty, and many of them are within a few blocks of Pacific Avenue. Being able to walk a client over to a lender meeting, or have a lender walk to us, is useful in a way that is hard to quantify and easy to feel. The same goes for the courthouse district and the county offices that a good number of our funding-readiness and contractor clients deal with.

The other reason is simpler: the space was right. Two corner windows, a conference room, a real front desk, and a floor for the team, at a downtown address. We did not need more than that, and we did not want less.

What changes if you work with us

• The address. In-person working sessions, document drop-offs, and mail now go to 1910 Pacific Avenue, Suite 5055. If you have our old address saved anywhere, update it.
• Nothing else. Same team, same published pricing, same fixed-scope engagements, same phone number and email. Remote and hybrid engagements are unaffected. On-site operational work still happens at your location, because you cannot fix a workflow you have never watched.
