The Longevity Circle: A Plan and Model for a Healthspan Venture
The Longevity Circle, LLC
Substance
a plan built to read as business, not trend
Defensible
a model with labeled, adjustable assumptions
Investor-ready
plan and numbers aligned into one narrative
Situation
The Longevity Circle is a venture in the longevity and healthspan space — a category growing fast and thick with noise. Its hardest problem wasn’t the idea; it was credibility. To move forward, the founders needed a plan and a financial model that separated a real business from the trend: a clear offering, a defensible model, and materials an investor would take seriously.
The engagement
CMA built the business plan and the financial model, with revisions, aligned to an investor-facing narrative.
Positioning against the hype
The first job was to make the venture read as substance, not trend. We sharpened the positioning and the offering — what The Longevity Circle actually does and who it serves — so the plan led with a real business rather than a category buzzword.
The plan and the model
The business plan was built to be defensible in front of investors, structuring the offering, the market, and the strategy to earn credibility. The financial model turned the vision into projections and a revenue structure with every assumption labeled and adjustable — the way a reviewer uses a model, not admires it — and a supporting deck delivered the story consistently.
Why the structure mattered
The framing decision was to let the discipline of the documents carry the credibility. In a hyped category, an investor’s guard is up; a plan and model that read as rigorous, honest, and interrogable are what lower it.
Impact
The Longevity Circle left with a funding-ready plan and model — the foundation a venture needs to raise in a category where credibility is the hardest thing to earn. Strategy, translated into the documents capital actually reads.
In a category running on hype, the plan's job was to read as substance.
